Structural characteristics of the floating ball valve

1. To prevent the misuse of the handle
The opening and closing of valves is usually identified through the location of the handle When the lever is perpendicular to the pipeline, the valve is in close state; and when the both are of being parallel ,the valve is in open state. But the connection way between common valve handle and stem is flat Quartet, easy to cause misoperation due to wrong connection way between handle and the stem . However, for the special floating ball valve, the connection way between handle and stem is Quad Flat ,it successfully avoids the misperation.
2. Locking mechanism
The fully open and fully closed position can be controlled via the lock device, avoiding the misoperation caused by non-professional worker. With 、 lock device, we also can prevent accidents caused by vibration of the pipeline or unpredictable factors ,which makes the valve veing in open or close state.Especially for pipelines of explosive oil, chemicals, , etc., or the field piping occasions, the lock device plays a more effective role.
3. Anti-fly stem shroud
As for the float valve, to prevent abnormal increased pressure of the internal pressure which result the dange of the stem flying out , the lower part of the stem set shroud,;besides, to prevent leakage occurrence after fire burning, in the connecting point between lower shroud and the valve stem , a thrust bearing is set up to form seat back seal ,thus preventing the expansion of the accident.
For ordinary ball valve, in the event of valve stem packing damage caused by fire burning, or packing gland, or defective bolts, the stem may fly away and which probably caused the fluid spill out, and the result is accidents occurence and even make the situation worse, which is not in accordance with the safety requirement.
4.Anti-static function
The friction Between the disk or stem and TFE(RPPL) may produces static electricity, whch may strike fire and burn the medium ,bring about accidents.To prevent accident occurrence,the special floating ball valve set up static conductive spring between stem and disk and between disks to guide the static electricity through the pipe into the ground ,thus ensuring the entire saytem safe.
5.Fire-resistant structure
To prevent the emergence of fire or heat accumulation, so that when the valve seat burning, there is a greater leakage, while contributing to the fire, special ball valve ball and valve seat in the fire set between the sealing ring, when the seat after burning, media will downstream side of the ball quickly into the metal seal ring to form a metal - metal contact, a certain degree of sealing, so as to ensure system security.

7. No leakage of valve sealing structure
The connection part between valve and valve side is sealed by gasket. Factors such as fire, high temperature, vibration and unequal torque when close or open the valve , all thesecan result in the external leakage.
In addition to relying on sealing gasket, the special floating ball valve is featured by the special design of metal-metal sealing, ensuring no leakage.
